I have very little resources that I can use to help horses at risk but a huge desire to do so ! I am truly blessed to have Hadancy who loves to paint pictures. these can be auctioned , sold or raffled to raise funds for people who are out there rescueing horses. This gives a unique excuse for media attention because we use the a portion of the money from sales of Hadancy's painting to help save horses from slaughter and abuse it is a interesting positive way to bring about awareness. it is to this end that I HAVE donated some of her work as fundraisers for the cause. to see images click on the photos more quality prints now available at ARTWANTED click here All paintings with a Capital --P-- are available as prints through Artwanted |
It's True my horse HADANCY is painting!!!! she's a Arabian / Morgan / Appaloosa cross ARMORAPPIAN When you have a young creature to raise you are always looking for ways to help them full fill their potential. who would've thought she'd become an artist... . My young horse is very smart and nibbly... but also gentle and and challenging. one day she picked up her grain bucket and brought it to me , she actually carried it about 15 feet. I of course gave her a big treat , she will now go and get anything I ask her including shovels...umbrellas... balls...and my hat when it comes off on the trail and she gives it to me while I.m still on her....SO I've got a TRICK HORSE! natural progression finds us playing basketball , xylophon . etc. but when she took my brush and brushed my hair .I. thought so what is next! then a friend told me that elephants in Thailand are painting pictures, she suggested that Hadancy could surely do that too ... well she is ! of course they are abstracts ..but it IS pure horse energy afterall , this is achieved by. me holding the canvas , after dipping the brush in acrylic She enthusiastically grabs it with her mouth and by moving her head she wipes it on the canvas...
